The Company complies with all measures and obligations concerning the implementation of the provisions of Part II of Law 4808/2021 for the prevention and treatment of all forms of violence and harassment, including gender-based violence and harassment and sexual harassment.

The purpose of this policy is to create and establish a work environment that respects, promotes and safeguards human dignity and the right of every person to a world of work free from violence and harassment. The Company declares that it recognizes and respects the right of every employee to a work environment free from violence and harassment and that it does not tolerate any such behavior, of any form, from any person.

This policy is adopted in accordance with Articles 9 and 10 of Law 4808/2021 and the implementing regulatory legislation and covers the persons referred to in paragraph 1 of Article 3 of Law 4808/2021.

A. Prevention and Combating Violence and Harassment at Work

Zero Tolerance Declaration Against Violence and Harassment

The Company explicitly and categorically rejects and opposes all forms of violence and harassment that occur during work, are connected with it, or arise from it.

The Company commits to:

  • integrate and generally strengthen preventive and suppressive mechanisms as well as procedures for addressing and eliminating incidents of violence and harassment at work
  • receive, investigate and handle every related report/complaint with confidentiality and respect for human dignity
  • not proceed with the victimization of the person who was harassed or against whom violence was exercised
  • take every appropriate measure and make every reasonable adjustment to working conditions to support employees who are victims of domestic violence
  • provide assistance and access to every competent public, administrative or judicial authority

Risk Assessment of Violence and Harassment

The Company has not faced risks of violence and harassment at work to date, but in any case where any such incident is brought to its attention, it will take all necessary measures to address them.

Prevention and Response Measures

Definitions:

As "violence and harassment" are understood the forms of behavior, acts, practices or threats thereof, which aim at, lead to or may lead to physical, psychological, sexual or economic harm.

As "harassment" are understood the forms of behavior that have the purpose or effect of violating the dignity of the person and creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment.

As "gender-based harassment" are understood the forms of behavior that are related to a person's gender.

As "Sexual Harassment" is understood any form of unwanted verbal, psychological, or physical behavior of a sexual nature.

Information and Awareness Actions

All company employees are informed about this policy and about their rights and the provisions of the law for avoiding and combating incidents of violence and sexual harassment.

Employee Rights

Every affected employee is informed that they have the right to:

  • judicial protection
  • appeal, submit a complaint and request for conducting a labor dispute at the Labor Inspectorate
  • report to the Ombudsman
  • complaint within the company in accordance with this policy

Complaint Investigation and Examination

The designated contact person will immediately examine the complaint, within the scope of their competence, while simultaneously observing the provisions of national and EU legislation on the protection of personal data.

Prohibition of Retaliation

Any complaint will remain confidential and will not lead to "retaliation" against the affected person.

Consequences of Violations

In any case where a violation of the relevant provisions is found, the Company will take measures to ensure compliance by the reported person and any necessary legal action.

Cooperation with Authorities

The Company will cooperate seamlessly with every competent public, administrative or judicial authority.

In case of modification of this policy, the Company will inform employees of any relevant change.
